Rambling On

Since it rained yesterday (yay!) and we couldn’t go outside I decided to clean up my home office. It has been a little neglected lately so I figured a nice rainy day was the perfect time to get it all straightened around. Well I did that but while I was in there I discovered there is really a couple of purchases I need to make to have it complete. I would love to be able to afford some scanning software and a new wireless printer. I have all the other things I need. So I’m going to start saving my pennies and hopefully one day soon I will have the cash to complete my office the way I want it.

This coming Tuesday will be my husband and I’s anniversary. We have been together for over 16 years but have only been married 9. I have asked for the night off so that we can go out to supper for our anniversary like we always do. I have also been looking for the perfect gift for him and I think I’ve found it. I plan on purchasing him cedar grilling planks. We don’t normally purchase a gift for one another but after seeing this product and hearing him talk about I know this will be the perfect gift. Tuesday is going to be a great day and I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he opens his gift.

Well the next couple of weeks are going to be pretty busy. I have a couple of birthdays coming up (one right after the other actually), an anniversary (mine) and have some company coming from out of town. So I think I’m going to be going a little crazy for a while. Then after all this dies down I’m going to have to get two kids ready to go back to school. Oh well, I guess this is what summer is all about right. Friends, family, celebrations and a lot of running around.

Well after spending a week typing on my computer steadily, I have to go to my regular job tonight. Man… I’m sure getting tired of the “w” word. It seems like all I ever do is work, work, work. The money’s nice, but sometimes I do wish I could have a little time for myself. Lately I haven’t even found the time to eat a proper meal. Oh well, I guess I won’t have to invest in any burning belly fat products then do I? But by going out to work tonight at least it will get me away from my computer for awhile. So I guess in this case work is good right???

The month of July is usually a very expensive month for our family. And this year is no exception. We have two birthdays to buy for and we have to start getting stuff for the kids to go back to school. And our anniversary is this month as well. Earlier today I went out shopping and I’ve got to tell you all that I spent quite a bit of money. I picked up a birthday present for my son, bought some adult acne treatment, bought a gift card for my husband for our anniversary and bought a few school clothes for the kids. And I’m not done yet. So let the spending begin, and the becoming poor once again get closer.

To tell you all that I’m getting seriously annoyed with my husband’s work is a mild understatement. Once again our weekend plans have to change because of his job. This coming weekend we were planning on taking the kids camping and yesterday he was informed that he has to work Saturday. I was so mad when I heard this news that I couldn’t even discuss it with him. I know it’s not his fault, but man…. couldn’t he just put his foot down just ONCE!!! It really doesn’t look like we’ll get much camping done this year and this I am seriously not pleased with. I really wish he’d get another job!

Now normally I don’t get sunburns. But I was only out for a couple of ours a few days ago and I got majorly burnt. I had my apple bottoms shorts on and let me tell you all that I’m seriously suffering these days. The good thing is that the burn isn’t quite so painful any longer, now it just itches. I hope all this uncomfortableness will turn out to be worth it and I end up with one super tan. Otherwise the pain will be for nothing.

I’m positive that I’m not the only one suffering this summer through all this heat but I want to complain anyway. Last night my husband and I were talking about all this heat plus the fact that summer just started. So we started discussing purchasing wholesale lots to possibly move our pop-up camper trailer too. This would eliminate having to worry if we can go camping or not and would give us a place where we could get away from our HOT mobile home. So this weekend we are going to check out some lots and see what we can come up with.

Honestly guys as I’m typing this post my fingers are sticking to the keyboard. It is so hot outside and inside. Yes, I have fans on but it’s so hot outside that they are really not doing any good. I am supposed to write some articles on side effects of diet pills but since it’s so bloody hot here in my house I think I may go off the computer for awhile and go back on it later tonight. I hope it cools down soon otherwise I’m going to melt.

This past weekend was perfect camping weather. But… did we get to go camping??? Nope. Once again my husband was on call and had to go to work. I’m getting so sick and tired of all this on call work. He has been on call every weekend except for one for the past year and this is now starting to get on my nerves. So instead of camping, I was tied to this computer researching extenze for one of my companies. If he doesn’t get a weekend off soon, I’m seriously going to blow!
