Working from home this weekend

Normally on the weekends I try not to be working on my computer but as it seems to lately, time just got away from me. So I’m doing a lot of work on my computer this week. I wasn’t able to finish up my research on www.facebook.com/ProFlowers or get the articles that are due Monday morning either. So that means I have to spend a lot of time on my computer this weekend instead of spending this time with my family. But with Christmas coming I guess I have no choice. I need this extra money and if I have to put in a little extra time over the weekend to earn this extra cash then that’s what I’ll have to do. I just hope this doesn’t happen too often.

Work is picking up finally

After months and months of business being slow we have finally started to pick up. My last few shifts have been pretty busy and it looks like we’re starting get some customers back. If things continue to go the way they have been then I don’t think I’ll need to look for any Internist Jobs in the near future. You never know when or if this type of business will be slow or busy so for now I’m just enjoying finally making a bit more cash and am enjoying my work once again.

The new company didn’t work out

So after writing the initial articles for this company and receiving more work on writing some articles on htc incredibel s which I had no clue what it even was, I decided that his company really wasn’t a good fit for me. Yes, I could of used the extra cash, but honestly when I sat down and figured out the time it would take to do the research and then write up the articles I decided my time was a little more valuable then what they were willing to pay. I really didn’t want to give up this job, but I just couldn’t justify working that hard for a little bit of cash. So I’m on the hunt for a different company to see if I can make a little more money than this contract was offering me.

Working for a new company

A couple of weeks ago at my work my shifts got cut. So I had to start looking for more ways to try to earn a little more income. Well last week I got hired by a different company to start to write articles. I’m glad I got the job as it does mean more money in my pocket but with my first assignment to write five articles on hydraulic crimping tools I’m a little concerned on the type of work they are going to require of me. I think I’m going to end up spending a lot of time researching and I’m really hoping this extra work doesn’t cut into my bottom line. But I’m going to give it a go and see what happens. Because after all, I really do need the extra cash.

Expensive week

Well this certainly has turned into a very expensive week for us. Both my husband and I are on holidays. He’s on salary for his job so he’s still getting paid for this week, but I’m not. And… not only am I losing wages, but I’m losing tips as well. But that’s okay. I needed this time off. I only wish I had saved up some silver dollars so I’d have a little extra cash to play around with this week. But next week is coming and it will be back to work for me so I’m just going to enjoy the time off and not worry about the lack of dollars coming through my home.

Still playing catch up

I didn’t realize how much work I had stock piled ahead of me until I started working away on it. Man, am I ever glad I don’t get sick very often and have work stock piled for me. I have got most of my blogging all settled away, but still have a few articles on adderall weight loss to finish up on and a huge transcription project deadline looming. I also have a ton of housework to do that I haven’t even begun to look at yet. I think all this work is going to take me a little bit longer than I had originally planned on. Oh well, I guess I’ll just keep plugging away at it.

Computer acting up today

Man, it has taken me over an hour to get online on this stupid computer. The kids had no problem getting online with theirs and my husband had no problems either. But for some reason my computer doesn’t like me today. I don’t know, maybe it’s paying me back for not being online very much this past week. But, I’m on now. So I’m going to finish all my work as quickly as I can and then shut this thing down. I think I’ll have to do a little cleaning up on this computer and hopefully the next time I try to go online it will treat me a bit better.

You get what you pay for

Well I guess the old saying really is true. You do indeed get what you pay for. About six months ago I spent $14 on a pair of sneakers for work and thought I got a really good deal. Well…. apparently I didn’t. After six months they sprung a leak and I’m not able to wear them any longer. I guess I should have invested in some koolaburra boots instead. So… on top of everything else I have to purchase this time of year, I now need to go find myself a new pair of sneakers for work.

Dreading going to work

Later on tonight I have to go in for my regular shift and you can’t even imagine how bad I am dreading this. Last week we had a new POS system installed and every shift that I’ve used it has been pure he**. And… I really can’t see tonight being any different. So this is why I am dreading going into work. Honestly Friday night was so bad that I was actually considering checking out banking jobs and just getting out of there. Hopefully tonight’s not quite so bad, but I’m certainly not getting my hopes up.

Disturbing situation

I knew this was going to happen eventually. My husband has been working for the same company for about 13 years now and hasn’t been happy there for a very long time. He stays there because he makes good money but he certainly isn’t happy working there. Well yesterday he got mad and literally walked off the job. And when I say literally I mean he walked for over two hours before I met him and picked him up. I guess with exercise like that, he really doesn’t need to invest in any Lipofuze now does he?? Well… he didn’t go back to work today and won’t even discuss it. I really hope he starts talking soon as at this point I don’t even know if he’s still employed.
