I must be the worst procrastinator that I know. Over the weekend I was supposed to help both kids get a start on a couple of big projects. But did I do this?? No I did not. Both days I had a really busy shift at work and when I got home, I was just too tired to do anything. So I put them off. Now I have to try to do a little bit each night with both of them in hopes of getting them done. This is going to be a little difficult as I do have to work a couple of days this week and my daughter has something after school one of these days. But hopefully we will get most of it done and just have to finish things up on the weekend.

My daughter is a pain in my “well you know”. When she gets homework of any kind that involves my help, she has a tendency to drive me crazy. She will not leave me alone until the homework is done. This is what happened today. She bugged me so much to do this assignment that I was half tempted to pack up my Samsonite luggage and run away from her for a little while. But, we got the homework completed and now hopefully she will leave me alone for awhile. That is of course until the next time an assignment is due.

Over the last few years I have been seriously kicking myself. I now regret not going on to a higher education to further my education. But I have also discovered that it’s never too late to go back to school. Now that I’m in my 40’s I have decided to take an online course. The course that I’ve been seriously looking at is the Online masters degree that can obtained through Gonzagaonline.com.
This University offers students a masters degree in Nursing, leadership and communication. So I have been checking out all the information regarding their nursing degree. They are an accredited university and offer a very comprehensive course. And because it’s all done online, I would feel more comfortable doing this from home than actually sitting in a formal classroom.
So if you’ve been considering taking an online course yourself, why not check out Gonzagaonline.com.

Well it looks like I just might be headed back to school this fall. I have an opportunity to advance at my present place of employment, but to do this I really need to upgrade my insurance marketing knowledge. Because I do have a marketing diploma, I really don’t need to take the entire course, I just need to do a little upgrading. If I do this, I have a chance at a better job making a lot more money. So over the next few days I will be checking out course materials and prices and then make my final decision from there.

Although the kids have been home for less than a month, this seems to be the longest summer ever. We have had such bad weather and they have been in the house a lot. Being in the house so much means that they are together constantly so this means a massive amount of fighting. Every year I look forward to them going back to school, but this year I think I’m looking forward to it just a little bit more. We still have over a month before this happens, so I really think this is going to be one long…. summer.

In two more days the children will be done school for the summer holidays. They are both looking forward to a summer of fun and relaxation. I’m not sure how much relaxing I’ll get done having a couple of kids home and underfoot, but we will see. So over the next couple of days I need to get quite a bit accomplished. There are just certain things I don’t like to do when the children are around, so I have to make sure that I get everything done that I want to have done before Friday. Oh well, in September I knew this day was coming so I guess I’ll have to suck it up.

I really do hope that the weatherman holds true to his word today. They are calling for cloudy with sunny periods. No rain showers have been mentioned. I really hope this does work out in the end. Both the kids have their annual sports field day at school today, but if it rains they won’t be able to participate. Both the kids went to school in shorts and didn’t take a lunch as they are supposed to be having a BBQ. So hopefully for their sakes, the weather stays the way it’s supposed to. Finger’s crossed everyone!

My daughter’s grade 5 class was supposed to go bowling today. But due to heavy rains, their trip got cancelled. Yeah. I know your wondering why would the trip get cancelled because of rain, since most people bowl inside right??? Well it got cancelled because they were going to walk to the bowling alley. But the teacher’s kind of expected this to happen and made other plans. So although they don’t get to go bowling, they will still be having a fun day at school. And I don’t know about the other kids, but my daughter is just as happy to be doing fun things at school as she was to go bowling. So all in all everything worked out OK.

The other night I was checking out the site over at www.express-invitations.com to see if I could find some pretty and unique graduation invitations to purchase for my daughter’s upcoming grade 5 graduation. While I was there, I discovered that they sell Photo Invitations. I thought what a neat idea. I could order some of the Photo Invitations Announcements with my daughter’s grade 5 picture on the front. I really want to make this time special for her and buy purchasing this type of photo invitation, I think this will be a time she will remember for ever.

Although every year my husband and I will make a pretty big purchase for the kids if they pass the school year, this year will be a little different. My daughter will be grading from grade 5 so this means that she will be graduating from elementary school. So this also means that we have to purchase her a pretty great gift for all her efforts. Well, this is going to cost us.
So I have been looking online to see if I can find any deals of some sort. Well I was pretty happy to stumble across a site over at Coupon Trunk. They have a whole host of coupons on their site for a great many stores. One of my favorite sites to shop at is Buy.com. And this site supplies a whole host of coupons from Buy.com. So I am going to take one of these coupons and buy a gift that is very deserving for a child who is leaving elementary school and entering middle school. And, I’m pretty sure I will be able to find a pretty great grading present for my son who is entering grade 4 next year.
