Stuck inside today

It’s turning out to be one miserable day. First my husband got called into work on his weekend off and man is he ripping. And now as I sit here on my computer and look out my kitchen window all I see is a massive amount of snow falling. So… I guess I’m stuck in the house all day today. I had plans to go out and get a few things done today and that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. So I guess I’ll just stay home, sit on my computer and check out some term life insurance quotes. Nothing better to do today.

No tax sale

One of our major department and grocery stores in our area had their no tax sale today. I left early this morning to see if I could get some deals and beat the traffic but apparently I didn’t leave early enough. When I got to the store the parking lot was full and when I walked inside, well… forget it. I wasn’t in the store very long before the crowd got to me and I ended up leaving. I didn’t even get to check out the fat burning supplements like I wanted to. So, I guess I didn’t take advantage of the sale. It just wasn’t worth the headache to me.

You can tell that it’s Monday

I really do hate Mondays. That’s when I have a pile of work that needs to get done. And today is really no different. I have a lot of housework to do, I need to write a few articles on glucosamine chondroitin msm and I have to somehow find time in my day to get some groceries. My to do list every Monday just seems to get bigger and bigger and that is why I’m not really happy when Monday arrives. Oh well, I have to do it all because as I’ve learned in the past, if I don’t do it, nobody will.

Going to be on TV

One of our local news stations has picked up the story about our trailer park being sold and all the new rules and regulations that the new owners “think” we are going to follow. On Monday I was interviewed on the radio and now they want me to do a follow up on the TV as well. I have agreed to do this but not until I get a few other things done. I need to purchase some of the best acne treatment that money can buy and I need to get my hair dyed. After this is completed I then have no problem going on TV and stating my opinion. I just want to look good when I do it (laughing).

Beautiful weekend

Well it’s another beautiful weekend and we are all stuck at home. My husband has to work this weekend so we really can’t do much of anything. Hopefully he will be finished quite early today and then we might be able to do something a little fun today. But we won’t be able to go camping. I really can’t wait until this summer is over. Maybe then I won’t feel so bad that we weren’t able to do much of anything this year.

Pretty busy couple of weeks

Well the next couple of weeks are going to be pretty busy. I have a couple of birthdays coming up (one right after the other actually), an anniversary (mine) and have some company coming from out of town. So I think I’m going to be going a little crazy for a while. Then after all this dies down I’m going to have to get two kids ready to go back to school. Oh well, I guess this is what summer is all about right. Friends, family, celebrations and a lot of running around.

Spending money

The month of July is usually a very expensive month for our family. And this year is no exception. We have two birthdays to buy for and we have to start getting stuff for the kids to go back to school. And our anniversary is this month as well. Earlier today I went out shopping and I’ve got to tell you all that I spent quite a bit of money. I picked up a birthday present for my son, bought some adult acne treatment, bought a gift card for my husband for our anniversary and bought a few school clothes for the kids. And I’m not done yet. So let the spending begin, and the becoming poor once again get closer.

Need to get on a schedule

I have to tell you all that having two kids home on school vacation has really thrown a crimp into my routine. This past week I have not been able to get much accomplished and I blame this totally on having the children around. So I really need to figure out a better schedule to get things done. This week I had so many plans on what I would get accomplished and honestly the only thing I managed to get done was purchase some discount shades. I’ve got to get some sort of schedule worked out otherwise not a lot will get done this coming summer.

I need to go to bed!

I’ve been on this computer for over 12 hours today and really think it’s time I hit the bed. I have been typing for 12 hours straight and now my head hurts and my eyes are crossed. lol I guess I’ll shut this machine down, spend a little bit of time with my husband and go hit the hay. I’ve got another long day of typing to do tomorrow so I really think I’m going to need my sleep.

It’s going to be a long summer!

I’m thinking maybe I should stock up on all my tea tree oil for acne supplies and headaches supplies already for the summer. Late yesterday afternoon I got into a major argument with one of my neighbors. Her 10 year old son called my 11 year old daughter a very, very bad name and I completely lost it! I understand that kids will be kids and fights will ensue, but… there is a limit. And you all know the part that ticked me off the most??? His mother never said a word to him. So with this kid and his mother around all summer, I can see this being one of the longest ones in my life.
