So yes, we did get hit with the storm that I posted about earlier. Instead of the 20cm that we were supposed to get, we got 25. Well…. guess what?? Another 20 is on it’s way. This particular storm is supposed to hit sometime late tomorrow night and continue into Sunday. Oh joy! Oh well, I guess I’m going to have to air out my area rugs today as it will probably be the last day in a while in which I will be able to do this. Man… I hate snow and winter and cold and really, really wish it would all end soon!

Earlier this morning I was listening to the weather channel and one reporter claims that we already have more snow on the ground this year then we did for the entire season last year. And… they are calling for me. Right now there is a snowfall warning that sometime tomorrow we are going to get hit with another 20cm of snow. Man… I hate winter!! I realize that we always get snow this time of year but I really think we have enough and this really needs to stop. So… if you don’t see me around for the next few days, that’s because I am once again attempting to shovel my way out of yet another snow storm.

Man…. it’s cold! Right now it’s minus 23 degrees outside with a windchill factor of minus 36. That’s cold!!! I was supposed to go out and do some running around today, but I think I’m going to stay inside today where it’s warm. I guess my husband can go another day without his cigars. It’s just too darn cold to venture out today. We are supposed to *enjoy* this weather for the next three days so I really don’t think I’ll be traveling very far over the next little while. Have I mentioned how I absolutely hate the cold!

A few months ago I was accepted into the Neilsen’s program. To participate in this program you have to purchase products like acne products, groceries, clothing, or gifts. When you get home you then scan the bar codes into your computer and then send a report to them once a week. Compensation for this program is that you get points and when you get enough points built up, you can choose items out of their catalogue for yourself. Well… I have been waiting months for them to send me the scanner. I really want to participate in this program but until I get the scanner, I can’t do anything. Man… I hate waiting!

I really have to laugh at people in my area. When we get hit with a major snowstorm like we did yesterday they get all in a panic and start complaining about the amount of snow we get. We live in Eastern Canada people, you must be used to it by now! We knew well in advance that this storm was coming so I made sure to stock up on supplies and had my iphone 4 charged up as well. Well the snow has stopped falling now so it’s time to start digging ourselves out. Oh man, you’ve just gotta love winter now don’t you?!

When I have both the kids home during the day I don’t usually like to do any errands. Although they are 10 and 12, taking them to the stores kind of is a pain in the (well you know). So since I’ve put off doing any errands for the past couple of weeks (Christmas vacation) now that they are back in school I have a lot of errands that I need to do today. So I will be headed to the electronics store to take back a laptop charger, I need to go to the bank, the drug store and the post office. Maybe if I get all these errands done today I can also take myself out for lunch! So have a great day and I’ll talk to you all soon.

I was up at 4:00 am this morning. Do you all want to know why?? That’s the time of day that my lovely husband decided to do laundry. That’s right, 4:00 am doing laundry! I was so… not impressed. I realize that he needs his work clothes for work, but come on now, can’t he do this at an earlier time in the night. So… once again I am exhausted today. I have to work tonight so I won’t be getting any extra sleep tonight. And… he better not decide he needs to do laundry again tonight at 4:00 am!

I can’t believe that the holidays are over and we are now in 2011. Where does the time go?? It seems like only yesterday my husband and I were checking out different htc desire 2.2 phones for our kids and now the season is all over. Oh well, that’s life I guess. So now it’s back to the normal routine for my husband and I and then next week the kids will go back to school. So… I guess that means I’ll be back once again spending my days on the computer and less time relaxing due to the holiday season.

So you’re all probably wondering where I’ve been the past few days. Well… I’ve been around just not online. My husband purchased some maxim lights so we’ve been busy doing a little renovating. And we’ve been spending a lot of time with the children this holiday season. We were both able to get a few days off from our regular jobs so I decided to take some time off from my online jobs as well. But the holiday season is almost over so I guess it’s back to work for both of us. So if you’ve missed me this past few days, have no fear, I’m back!

So once again my insurance policy is almost ready to be renewed. Every year at this time I have to renew all my policies so I usually spend a few days researching different companies to see if I can get a better rate. So I’ve decided once again to spend the time doing this. If I can save a few extra dollars by switching over to Blue Advantage insurance then why not. So I’m going to start checking out some different sites here on the Internet and maybe I can find something that will suit my needs at a much more affordable rate.
