my friends sent me an e-mail the other day about a lady who was getting rid of some of her scrapbooking supplies and she wanted to know if I would be interested in getting them from her for free.  Of course I said yes.  So she gave me her phone number and e-mail address and I contacted this lady. 

Well today she dropped by with the stuff and I have to tell you that I was surprised at all the stuff that she was giving away.  Now don’t get me wrong, I appreciated all that she gave and it will all go to good use, but I was really surprised at her generosity.  I have to say that purchasing this amount of supplies would have cost me a fortune so I am extremely grateful to her.  I am also extremely grateful to my friend for hooking me up with this lady.

I’ve been a very busy girl!

past week, I have been making a lot of homemade jewelry. Last weekend I went to our local craft store and bought a ton of beads and supplies so I could get back to making jewelry. So for the past few days that’s pretty much all I have been doing. When I started posting on different forums that I have homemade jewelry for sale, some fellow bloggers suggested that I check out Etsy.com to see about setting up a shop to sell my jewelry. So for the past couple of days I have been looking into getting my own Etsy shop and I took the plunge and set one up. Right now I have five items up for sale, and if they sell, I will then advertise more. The fees associated with this site are quite reasonable, so I decided to give them a try for a little while. If this works out, then you will be able to see a lot more of the jewelry listed on this site.
