Normally the kids go out to play in the afternoon but in the evenings we usually stay in. Well not lately. The temperatures have been so hot these past couple of days that we’ve had no choice but to go sit outside for most of the evening. But I’m not complaining, it’s been kind of nice. My husband sits there and smokes his cigars and has a couple of drinks and the kids and I sit there with him. If it wasn’t for this unbearable heat, I’d say that right now we are all having a pretty good time these days in the evenings.

At the first of the summer my husband was informed that he would not be able to take his two weeks vacation during the summer. So he then decided to take his vacation time in bits and pieces. Last weekend he had the weekend off so he also took Monday and Tuesday of this week off as well. We really didn’t do very much of anything but it was still nice that he was able to get this little bit of extra time off. So I guess this is the way he will end up getting his vacation this year. Oh well, it’s better than not getting it at all.

To tell you all that I’m getting seriously annoyed with my husband’s work is a mild understatement. Once again our weekend plans have to change because of his job. This coming weekend we were planning on taking the kids camping and yesterday he was informed that he has to work Saturday. I was so mad when I heard this news that I couldn’t even discuss it with him. I know it’s not his fault, but man…. couldn’t he just put his foot down just ONCE!!! It really doesn’t look like we’ll get much camping done this year and this I am seriously not pleased with. I really wish he’d get another job!

This past weekend was perfect camping weather. But… did we get to go camping??? Nope. Once again my husband was on call and had to go to work. I’m getting so sick and tired of all this on call work. He has been on call every weekend except for one for the past year and this is now starting to get on my nerves. So instead of camping, I was tied to this computer researching extenze for one of my companies. If he doesn’t get a weekend off soon, I’m seriously going to blow!

I’m happy to report that I made it through my husband’s week at home! It was such a long… week. This man is definitely a man who needs to be at work. If he’s not working, he gets bored. And when he gets bored, he agitates. When he agitates me, he drives me crazy and I can’t get anything done. I didn’t do much general transcription last week or even finish the articles on asbestos mesothelioma that I was supposed to write about. He just wouldn’t let me work. But today he went back to work so I plan on getting a lot done today. All I have to say is thank god today is Monday!

It’s been quite a long week already and it’s only Wednesday. My husband is home on holidays and he is driving me crazy! For the past four days it has been raining so he hasn’t been able to go outside to do stuff. So he’s stuck in the house and is bored. And when he’s bored, he bugs. This is a man that absolutely needs to work! Thankfully he only took a week off this time. This gives me a couple of weeks to recuperate from his week off before the kids are home for the summer.

Last night my husband asked me if I would do some research on different types of diet pills. Well I came across a site over that had pretty good apidexin reviews. I’m going to send him the link. Later on this afternoon I’ll do a bit more research to find other sites so he can make his own comparisons and decide which type of pill he wants to go to. It’s a sure sign of summer when my husband starts talking about weight loss again.

My husband just informed me that he will be taking a week’s vacation next week. Well…. that makes for a long week for me. This man is more trouble than my two young kids and I really don’t know what I’m going to do with him home all week. Normally he drives me so nuts when he’s home, that I’m thinking about doing a little funeral planning if you get my drift. But then again maybe he’ll surprise me and behave himself. Well only time will tell so we’ll just have to wait and see how next week goes.

Sixty eight years ago today my dad arrived on this earth. Although he is not with us any longer, I still like to acknowledge this fact every year. So…. dad I know you’re around here somewhere reading this, so happy birthday and I miss you so… so much!
