Well another family member got married and again I wasn’t able to attend. One of my nieces got married over the weekend and because she lives over 1000 miles away from me I wasn’t able to attend her big day. But because of the Internet I was able to see her beautiful beautiful wedding pictures taken by raleigh wedding photographers the very same day that they got married. If the pictures are anything to go by, she had a wonderful day and ceremony was beautiful. I wish I could have been there to celebrate the day with her, but at least I was able to see the pictures the same day and be able to see that yes, she is finally happy.

Well I guess I won’t be looking for the best grad gifts that money can buy, but rather a wonderful wedding anniversary present for my husband. On July 27 with will be married for 10 years and I really want to find him a special gift! Normally I break down and just purchase him a Canadian Tire gift card but this year since it’s our 10th I want to do something special.
Any suggestions guys?

Yes, this past weekend was quiet like I predicted but it was a nice relaxing weekend. I did end up going to the grocery store on Saturday and spending a pile of money. But the family has got to eat now don’t they?? I think the only thing I didn’t buy on Saturday was muscle supplements. I think I bought everything else. But except for the shopping trip and working for four hours yesterday we all enjoyed a nice quiet family weekend. Man… I wish we had more of these. Maybe we will now that my husband is not on call every weekend anymore.

I don’t normally make any new year’s resolutions. Do you?? I have found that over the years any resolutions that I make I tend to break within the first week. But my husband does. Well this year his new year’s resolution is to lose the extra weight that he’s been carrying around for years. He has decided to try out some diet pills to see if this can help him lose the weight. I have looked up some diet pill side effects to give him some insight into this. But the side effects really don’t bother him so I guess he’s going to go for it. Unlike me, I really do hope he sticks this out. He will definitely feel better for it.

So as I stated in a previous post, my husband’s computer died. Well for once in his life he actually listened to me. The day after his computer died he came home with a new one with some really neat portable speakers. I think he’s actually glad his old one died because the one he ended up purchasing is a lot nicer than his old one. And because of the time of year it is he got it for a really nice price. So I am extremely happy to report that I don’t have to share my computer!

Usually once a year my husband will get on a health kick. Well it’s that time. Last night he asked me to check out information on Diet pills with amphetamine to see if he could find something that will work for him when trying to lose the extra pounds. So I did some research and gave him my recommendations. I really hope he follows through with this this time and sticks to it. But… if I know my husband, he’s still not ready to commit to losing this weight. Once he is, then maybe he’ll follow my advice and follow through.

Earlier this morning my husband called me while he was out on a service call. He wanted to know if I wanted him to stop in with breakfast from McDonald’s. Of course I said yes! Yes, I realize that after eating this food I will have to invest in some oily skin treatments but…. it will be so worth it. So he arrived home with two egg McMuffins and two coffees from my favorite coffee shop. Now you know why I have the bestest husband on this planet.

Although my husband and I have been together for nearly 17 years, we have only been married for nine. But our tenth wedding anniversary is coming up and I would love to really do something special for this. I have been looking at wedding dresses lately and have thought that I might want to re-new our vows for our 10th anniversary. I don’t know if my husband would really go for this idea. But I think this would be an excellent way to celebrate 10 years of wedded bliss.

I knew this was going to happen eventually. My husband has been working for the same company for about 13 years now and hasn’t been happy there for a very long time. He stays there because he makes good money but he certainly isn’t happy working there. Well yesterday he got mad and literally walked off the job. And when I say literally I mean he walked for over two hours before I met him and picked him up. I guess with exercise like that, he really doesn’t need to invest in any Lipofuze now does he?? Well… he didn’t go back to work today and won’t even discuss it. I really hope he starts talking soon as at this point I don’t even know if he’s still employed.

My husband’s father and his wife have an anniversary coming up and our family is trying to figure out what to get them. Because they are older they have everything and if they don’t have it, it’s because they don’t really want or need it. So my husband and I have been trying to talk his sisters into going in on a vacation package for them. I have been doing some research into Branson vacation packages and think that if the girls went in on it with us, we could all afford to send them somewhere nice. We do have a little while before their anniversary so maybe by then they will both agree to this and we can give him and his wife a vacation of a life time.
