Broken computer

You guys are absolutely NOT going to believe this. About three weeks ago I broke down and bought a new laptop. Well guess what??? This damn thing is infected. That’s right, it’s only three weeks old and I’ve started having problems already. So I guess I won’t be doing any blog posts on yoga blocks any day soon. I have to take this stupid thing back to the store and hopefully they’ll fix it free of charge. If not, I really have no idea what I’m going do as I really don’t have any money left for repairs or a new computer. So wish me luck and hopefully I’ll have a good resolution to post about sometime in the near future.

Trying to increase page rank

About three years ago I lost all page rank on this blog and still to this date can’t manage to get any page rank back. I have tried all sorts of things like utilizing directory submission websites but nothing seems to help. I really don’t know what more I can do to try to increase my page rank.

So I guess my question to you all is how do you manage to increase your page rank and keep it? Do you have any secrets you’d like to share with me? I’d be extremely pleased if you could share any of your methods.

This computer really has got to go!

I have only had this particular computer for a little over two years, but I am so close to throwing it out the window that it isn’t funny. This machine is so…. slow that it takes me forever just to post a blog post. I’m thinking about selling it and maybe purchasing a Mac computer. I hear the mac memory is absolutely amazing on these units. I really need to do something or I’m going to get frustrated and possibly stop using it for awhile. I really don’t want to do that as if I go offline for awhile, I’m going to lose a lot of money. Oh….. decisions, decisions.

I am so proud of myself!

As you can tell by my frequent posts these days, I am once again getting into blogging. Over the winter I kind of found myself in a funk and really wasn’t interested in blogging very much. So I really didn’t do a lot. But lately I have felt the urge to blog and now that the bug hit me, I have once again been taking care of all my blogs. I don’t know if this is because the winter season is almost behind us and I’m out of my winter funk or not. Whatever the reason, you really should know that I plan on blogging a lot more than I did and I’m sure I’ll have a lot more to say over the coming months.

Still testing my patience

My computer was acting up so badly yesterday that I finally had to shut it down for the day. It was either this, or throw the thing out the window. And since computers cost a lot of money, I chose option A. Well, it’s not working much better today. It is a little faster, but when I tried earlier to do a post on best muscle building supplements, after I hit submit the entire screen went black. So… I rebooted it and thankfully never lost the post. I really don’t know how much more of this I can take. I may have to start using the kids little netbook until I can afford a new computer for myself.

Computer crashed

I have to tell you all, that I’m just about at the end of my rope with the computer. Not only does it take so…. long to boot this computer up and get on the Internet, but now when I try to do posts on any of my blog, this stupid thing just sits there for quite a while with the message that it’s loading. A little while ago I was trying to do a post on acne medicine and the computer screen just went black. So I had to reboot the entire system and wait for ever to get back into my blogs. Something has got to change. I don’t have the patience for all this waiting!

Christmas blues

Although Christmas is usually a happy time for most people, this year my best friend has the Christmas blues. Last month her son checked into a drug rehab center and it looks like he won’t be able to get out any time soon. So this has gotten her a little depressed. She does plan on seeing him over the Christmas holidays, but it’s still not the same thing. I have tried to tell her that at least he’s in a drug rehab program, so eventually he will get better and be home for many, many more Christmas’s to come. But, it’s still very difficult for her.

A new blog

No, don’t get stressed out here. I’m not starting a new blog. I wanted to tell you all about a friend’s new blog. She is completely new to the world of blogging so I’m really hoping that I can get the word out that she has started a new blog. Her new blog can be found over at Ashely. She is a wife and a mom of three kids and in her spare time she is trying to get her blog up and running. So, why don’t you pop on over to Ashley’s blog to see what she has to say today.

Spam comments

As any blog owner can tell you, one of the main things that tick us seriously off, is the amount of spam comments that we have to deal with on a day to day basis. Now, if you only have one or two blogs, this may not annoy you quite so much than if your trying to run multiple blogs. I get all kinds of comments on my blogs that have nothing to do with the actual posts itself. Last week on one of my posts, the commenter left a comment about colon cleanse products and the post had nothing whatsoever to do with this comment. Of course I deleted it, but man I’m getting tired of these crap comments. I love when people comment on my posts, but these fake comments really have to go.

Back on track

Well as you can all see, I am in here posting a lot more frequently than I was over the past few weeks. This is because life has finally slowed down for me and things are getting back to normal. I haven’t been doing a whole lot of other things besides blogging so that gives me more time to come in here and visit with you all. I know I have a couple of pretty slow months and then things should start picking up again in real life. But until then, I’m just happy to be back.
