It really does seem like we’ve been renovating for years now. We have been at it for a couple of years but I think we are finally coming to the end. The last area that needs attention is our bathroom. I wanted to put in a walk in bath but I really don’t think that is in the budget. So I think what we will end up doing is buying some bathtub paint and just making our current tub look nice. After the bathroom is complete, then the entire house should be done and we will be ready to put this place up for sale in the Spring. Man I can’t wait until this all behind us!

Over the last few years I have been seriously kicking myself. I now regret not going on to a higher education to further my education. But I have also discovered that it’s never too late to go back to school. Now that I’m in my 40’s I have decided to take an online course. The course that I’ve been seriously looking at is the Online masters degree that can obtained through Gonzagaonline.com.
This University offers students a masters degree in Nursing, leadership and communication. So I have been checking out all the information regarding their nursing degree. They are an accredited university and offer a very comprehensive course. And because it’s all done online, I would feel more comfortable doing this from home than actually sitting in a formal classroom.

Today is the first day of fall and we are actually having better weather these days than we had all summer. But the nights are getting a lot colder and there have been a few mornings that I’ve woken up to frost on my windshield.
Fall is one of my most favorite seasons. It normally cools down a lot from summer and the with the trees turning color it’s such a beautiful season. So am I unhappy that fall has arrived?? Nope. Not by a long shot. I just hope it’s a long…. fall and that winter doesn’t sneak up on us like it did last year.

Although my husband never uses his class one driver’s license, once a year he has to go in for a complete physical so that he can renew this specialized licence. And once again, it’s time for his physical. I make the appointment for him and then he cancels it and I make a new one and he cancels it…. and so on. Well you get the point now don’t you. He really doesn’t mind going except for one thing. He hates to have the mandatory colon cleanse that goes with it. If it wasn’t for this procedure, he probably wouldn’t cancel the appointments so much. But time is running out and soon he is going to have to suck it up and go to the doctor.

My husband and I have a police scanner and it seems like the police in our area are a lot busier these days with crime than they ever have been before. Just last night, there was a break in at one of our automotive stores. They were tipped off by the wireless alarms that went off. And when they arrived on scene, they noticed that a lot of inventory had been taken. I don’t know if it’s because of this economy that people think they need to steal of if it’s just someone out for a few kicks. Whatever the reason is, the crime rate in our area has gone up quite a bit lately and I don’t like it one little bit.

Well my husband did it again. Once again he went out and purchased a piece of machinery that we really didn’t need. This time he came home with a mini chopper motorbike for my youngest son. Now this machine turned out to be way to big for my son so my husband has been playing around on it. He plans on fixing it up and then either selling it or trading it for a little dirt bike. So hopefully soon he will be able to get rid of this machine and buy one that is a little more appropriate for a nine year old. I know my son can’t wait for this to happen.

Well as you all know, I was having some serious problems with my computer. Well here is the update on that. Yesterday was the worst day ever! It took me over an hour to log onto the Internet and when I was finally able to get on, it kept kicking me off with all these annoying pop up messages. Well after ANOTHER scan with Norton Anti Virus I think I’ve got it licked. Norton was able to catch two critical errors and today my computer is working a lot better. I hope I didn’t jinx myself by posting this here. But so far this morning this machine hasn’t been acting up at all. Hopefully this is the end of my misery. But with my life, you just never know.
