Sometimes I despise my computer

All week long my computer has been giving me a serious headache. My machine sent me a message that I had a virus and if it wasn’t looked after this virus would infect my entire system. So I have been doing a system wide scan on my computer constantly for the past few days instead of posting about things in my blogs such as plasma mounts or what are plans were for the weekend. I don’t think this computer is out of the woods yet and I really do think that I’ll be doing some more systems scans. Other than this, I really have no clue how to get rid of these viruses. If I ever do get rid of them, I’ll come back in and let you all know.

Trimming down

My husband has decided that he needs to buy weight loss pills. Last week he noticed that he has put on some serious weight this summer and he is in the frame of mind now that he wants to lose it. He weighs in at over 230 lbs and this does not impress him. His access weight gain doesn’t bother me, but it does bother him so he is going to do something about it. I have tried talking to him and telling him to see his family doctor before taking anything, but he has got it in his head that he needs to start this now. Hopefully he doesn’t go overboard and hopefully I can talk him into going to his family doctor first.

So many decisions

As you all know my husband and I bought a mobile home years ago with the express intent that when we paid it off we would sell it and use the money for a down payment on a house. Well after 10 years, that hasn’t quite happened and I’m beginning to think it never will. Now instead of looking for a house, my husband has been looking at newer mobile homes. His reasoning for all this is that the fact that the kids are getting older so we really don’t need a big house any longer. And if we don’t have to get a huge mortgage then why would we. I just kind of go with the flow as I do realize that he may change his mind in a week or two anyway.

Weekend of fun

Well the sun is supposed to be shining all weekend so first thing tomorrow morning we will be headed out to the camp site. We will be trying a different one this time so I think that the kids are going to have a really great time. We are going to one that has a beach instead of a pool which will be a little different for the kids. They also have tons of activities going on during the day for the kids. So I think picking a different camp site will be an adventure for the kids.

Back to school

Well it looks like I just might be headed back to school this fall. I have an opportunity to advance at my present place of employment, but to do this I really need to upgrade my insurance marketing knowledge. Because I do have a marketing diploma, I really don’t need to take the entire course, I just need to do a little upgrading. If I do this, I have a chance at a better job making a lot more money. So over the next few days I will be checking out course materials and prices and then make my final decision from there.

Surprise

My husband is such a nut bar. On Friday he arrived home from work without his work truck. I just assumed that he left the truck at his work so he wouldn’t be on call for the weekend. Well you can just imagine my surprise when he told me he is now on vacation. Now I get to have him home for an entire week with no warning at all. You never know what kind of surprise he may come up with next. Who knows, maybe he will surprise me with a panama city beach resort vacation. Now wouldn’t that be nice?!

Laundry, laundry and more laundry

I swear to god the amount of laundry that I do in a run of week is outrageous. You would swear that there is about 15 of us living here instead of just four. Every day I am doing at least two loads of laundry and at least one of those loads are towels. I swear it would be cheaper to go out and buyhand dryers instead of all the detergent that I go through. I really think that each time the kids wash their hands, they are using a brand new hand towel and then tossing it in the hamper. I can’t wait for the day that it’s just my husband and I living here. Maybe then I’ll have more of a life than just laundry.

Fun in the sun

We will be headed out for our first camping trip this weekend. The weather is supposed to be gorgeous and we are going to take full advantage of it.

Expensive weekend

I really don’t look forward to this time of year. This is the time of year when I have to purchase birthday presents for two kids. Then I need to fork out a whole lot of cash for school clothes and supplies. And to top it off this year, my car was do for it’s license today so that was another $83.00 handed out the door. I’ll be really happy when the month of August has passed. Maybe then I’ll be able to keep just a little bit of my money.
