The pedometer challenge
My children’s school is always coming up with different types of physical activities and contests to keep the kids motivated. Well they have come up with a new contest. The contest is called the “pedometer challenge”. In this challenge, the children all wear a pedometer for one week during the school week. At the end of the week, all their steps are counted. The class with the most steps wins either a skating party or a sledding party.
Well, my son’s grade 3 class one the challenge for his grade level. It really didn’t surprise me as I know my son probably put on the most steps of anyone in the school. At home this kid never stops so I honestly can’t see him slowing down at school. If he keeps this type of energy level up through his teens and adulthood, he will never need to use fat burners, that’s for sure. Well I’m happy he won and so is he and he is now looking forward to his party.
