Do men ever listen to their wives??
I really have to wonder if most men ever listen to their wives. After a conversation I had with my husband this morning it got me to wondering if it was just him or if this is the case with all men.
Here is the conversation that took place in my house first thing this morning. My husband asked me a question this morning. And, I answered him. Then he asked me to repeat the answer. So I did. Then he said that he couldn’t understand my first answer because it sounded like I was talking through my nose. Then he asked me WHY was I talking through my nose. I then replied back, “because I’m sick! I’ve been telling you for the past three days now that I’m sick!”
So this is why I asked my original question. Do they ever listen?? I can almost bet come tomorrow morning we will have the same discussion and he won’t remember that I am sick or I have told him for the past three days that I’m sick.
So….does your husband listen? I really want to know.

If the words, sex or food aren’t in the sentence, i’m convinced they tune it out. If those words ARE in the sentence they’re the only words they do hear

As a husband I can say that I empathize with your husband. I know if my wife says anything to me before about 1:00pm she will have to remind me about it after she has originally told me. I am worthless and my brain does not engage until well after noon.
